The interesting thing will be how the legalisation of pot plays out in Colorado and Washington.
So far other than that not a whole lot changed last night. But the whole pot thing is now a states rights ordeal in direct contrast to federal law.This sets precedence,and I wonder if other states will now use
this in order to guarantee their citizens the rights to do other things as well.

Like own firearms, grow whatever they want to, and as far as employment we may have just became
an entire nation of sub contractors. For every action there is an opposite and equil reaction, so let's see
how the Feds end up dealing with this.  It is a blatant example of going against federal authority, Obama will have only two choises in this. And those are to stop this in its tracks before it gets to far along, or to bend to states rights and legalize marihuana.

Either way its a lose ,lose, proposition for him. Go along with it and he will be backing down as a fed recognizing states rights, oppose it he is not only going against the will of his base. But leaveing the door open for other things that he has not enforced federal laws on. In that case he will have to also
need Congress in order to recognize some rights we still have that he isn't real found of.
This election also shows states rights to recognize gay marriage, so in the end.                               

Both these initiatives could wind up showing that the Democrat party just bit off more than it can chew. And this will happen on their watch, a measure that could possibly lead to states coming real close to succession on a lot of matters. They used to call a joint a torpedo, and DC may have just gotten one of these in its broadside and is to stupid to know it yet. Snakes eating their own tails, so when Texas and Arizona set out to of their own things lets see how that pans out .

Liberals, thank you so much for being the first to hand us what we needed to also do what we want to do. Unwillingly, last night you may have given some states the tools they will need to preserve the Republic. Or to be whatever they want to be, even if that means them drafting their own set of laws
and ignoring what what goes on outside their borders. ROTFLMAO !

Whoa - you're giving liberals - I think you mean Democrats? - too much credit. Lot of liberty-loving Repubs, incl conservatives, gun owners, military guys, and Christians - voted for that initiative, too, because they know it's none of the gubmint's damned bidness what a free man eats, drinks, or smokes. I do not think there will much of a ripple. We have large cites that basically have trampled all over the 2nd amendment. They have gotten away with for a long time now. They require a permit to have a gun, then do not issue any permits. One of the worst offenders is Chicago, Obama's town. He will just look the other way if it is something he likes or goes along with and make it a mandate if he doesn't. Who needs laws when you can be mandated or look the other way. I guarantee you he is not upset in the least that two states that backed him in the election legalized Marijuana. It got out the young vote, didn't it.

Nothing has changed, we are on the same slippery slope that most Europeans are on. Lennon would be amazed at how easily we are becoming a socialistic society. The problem is, every socialistic experiment has failed or is failing, including Cuba, Russia and Red China. Some will argue that China is doing fine, well they really have abandoned the socialistic society and have a modified Capitalism system that is dictated by the government.

Members of the republican house are already talking compromise on tax increases to avoid the "fiscal cliff".  We shall soon see if raising taxes will have a positive or negative effect on the economy.
 
We will also see more rule by fiat, (executive order) to circumvent congress anyway.  It will be an interesting 4 yrs.
