Shotgun Barrel Ribs
« on: November 06, 2012, 03:55:08 AM »
Years ago I remember a do it yourself add on shotgun rib. Does anyone know if they are still available? How were they attached?

Loose ribs are available, but not cheap.  They would have to be soldered on:

You'd be better off to go through the barrel accessory program and get one fitted:
It's 85 bucks plus all the shipping etc.  8)

The Poly-Choke company used to offer ribs, don't know if they still do.

If memory serves they were "glued" on - probably some type of epoxy.

spruce, that sounds like what I'm thinking of. Thought it may have been Pachmayr but age is getting me :'(  I think you did glue them on and always wondered if they stayed on. They looked good in the pictures. I'd like them on my Handi barrels.

Checked the poly choke site and those are expensive :(
