Fast twist .22 cal

Does anyone out there have something similiar to a 224/243, 224/243 improved or a 224/6mm remington improved with a 1 in 8 twist barrel???  I've been reading a little about the .224 TTH and wanted to know if anyone else had any experience.  Sounds like to me with the 70 to 80 grain bullets that it would be an excellent long-range varmint or target rifle!!!  What do you all think???

I think I'd call it WAY overbored and limit it to those matches/hunting where 600+ yds are the short shots. Just my thought though when I looked at the case capacity.

If you really want something slick try a 1:6.5 or 1:7 barrel with the new 90 grain JLK's in one of those cases. It's deadly out to 1000 yards, no sweat!
