Nice! I have an older Model 25 .22 and one in 22mag, they've gotten tenure...
Lost between sunrise and sunset yesterday-one golden hour...never to be found or reclaimed:-(

Nice.  Good wood on yours too.  I have a Model 25 I really like, but wish it had a tube like my model 60.  ;)  When I was a teenager, I sanded the stock down and made it have more of a "big game rifle" feel to me.  The finish was dead anyway and I used Tru-oil to refinish it.  Not the best pic.  lol

here,s my marlin 881,i put the scope on a 581 rem. for small game walking hunting for the lighter weight. eastbank.

I had a 883 a while back, I traded it for a 882 when I found that tube mags had a bad habit fo hiding bullets... ::) It wasn't till early '90's that I bought a 880SQ. It was "homely" with its plastic stock and integral trigger guard. I went to marlin and bought a nicely figured 880 Walnut stock. Opened the barrel channel for the fat .920 barrel. Then drilled it for the second bedding screw the SQ has. Its a great shooter that I will NEVER sell! I reciently added a Leupold too!  ::)
