If enough people sign in enough states to put it on the ballot in all these states, 22 so far, then it is a serious initiative. Obama MUST compromise with the right, which he HASN'T done, contrary to what he says. The dems in the senate haven't submitted a budget in 4 years. Why, because they can use continuing resolutions to keep spending like it is. With a budget, they have to live with it.
If we compromise to raise taxes on the rich, then they MUST compromise to CUT the social welfare spending period. No way out of it. Social security is going to have to be raised to 70 for those under 40 or 50. Military bases overseas will have to be closed, but keep the aircraft carriers and subs going. Keep military people based here, not in foreign countries that cost more money.

If half the country withdraws from the union, it will be "L" shaped, the south with the plains and mountain states leaving the east and west coasts, maybe some of the midwest. At least we would get rid of welfare programs, but keep some type of social security for the elderly. No government run health care (remember 62% of Americans didn't want Obamacare, but it was forced on us). We could keep our borders closed. Make English the Official language and anyone who wants to come here to immigrate or work must be able to speak the language. Allow more Europeans to immigrate here with their skills instead of 3rd world unskilled people. Like hard working Germans, or Eastern European's who would appreciate freedom because they aren't far removed from communism.
