EAA Witness 10 MM Pistola
« on: October 10, 2012, 02:24:16 PM »
Bought a EAA Witness full size steel 10mm pistol.  Very pleased with it.  Seems as or more accurate than I can shoot, and 100% dependable with everything I put in it inc. HP handloads.  Looks just like my CZ 75 & finished as well or better maybe.
Anyone else have experience with one of these?  Any good?

I've been very happy with my Tanfoglio 9mm/.41 AE. Well made, accurate. What's not to like? I've had it around 20 yrs., shot heck out of it. Won some competitions, never a problem yet. Congratulations on your new baby.

Been shooting them for about 15 years. Great pistols, great prices, plus you can buy a conversion kit for all the standard semi-auto rounds cheaply too.You got a winner.

When I worked at one  of the local gun shops the owner and I both carried on in 45ACP, we coundent keep one in the store before it was sold. I know for a fact we sold over 200 of them in a year. Like a dummy I sold mine, but regretted doing it. After the first of the year will have another one.
Mine would shoot anything on the shelf and anything that I rolled at home.

Had mine since ----------forever. Had to shorten the ejector and go to a 20#-22# recoil spring to keep the gun from battering it's self and to get the brass to land in my timezone. Shoots great. Also have them in 9mm and .45. Great guns for the money!

I have the .45 ACP Match Witness.  Love it.  8)  If I had any complaint it's that the last 2 shells are very hard to load by hand without cutting yourself on the feed lips.  I often stop at 8 rounds in it now.  ;)

I had one of the EAA polymer 10mm. It shot well the trigger was so so. All in all the onlyt hing I didn't like about it was at the point in time there was only one place in the US that you could get mags for it. I didn't reload it at the time so shooting it was exspensive that combined with the hard to find mags was the reasoning on getting rid of it. Since then my cousin and I have gotten glock20's and he has pretty much kepts his in the stock configuratione me I went a lil wild. One thing we did was like savage stated went with 22lbs recoil springs. I guess they just don't set the factory released 10mm's up for accual 10mm loads but just for the light factory stuff.

I have several Witnesses in 9mm and 45 ACP and love them.  They just keep on soaking up ammo without a problem. I need a stiffer mainspring for my 45 witness as the one that came with it is far too light for heavy hand loads.

Thanks for the information.  I also have a .45 compact P which weighs about two pounds loaded.  Can't even tell I'm carrying it with my simple-dimple home made holster.  It seems to shoot everything.
