Actually I find the question to be a good one and would really like to hear some honest answers to the question by those who profess to be Christian and cast their vote for Obama.

Even if I agreed with Obama's stances on government (Socialism),  economics (redistribution of wealth), gun control (ban them outright from the public sector) I could not bring myself to vote for him based solely on the anti-Christian positions he takes on abortion and homosexuality.

So I'll pose the question again as non-offensively as I can to those Christian voters who voted for Obama.   Why did you vote for Obama and how do you square that with your Christian faith?

My faith as a Christian wouldn't allow me to vote for either! To do so would have been hypocritical.
Both are Anti-Christian on their positions for Abortion and Homosexuality.
You have to remember back a few years to get the real picture on Romney. As Governor of Mass. he was for a Woman's right to choose. AKA (Abortion)

Back in 1994 wile running to unseat another Liberal (Ted Kennedy) He was pro-Abortion.
He also supported the Draconian "Brady Bill"
I could go on and on! He is, IMO a Two Bit Liberal skunk who can be whatever he has to be to win an election. We know what kind of Polecat Obama is, and he admits it.His Liberal policies don't change. I couldn't square it with my Christian Faith (as you put it) to cast a vote for either, so I voted for someone who had principles I could agree with, and the one on the ballot here was Gary Johnson. I'm still scratching my head and wondering how my fellow Christian Conservatives could vote for either of these Bottom Feeders!

BTW......................To my fellow Veterans on the forum. From an old Army grunt on this Veterans day.
Thanks for stepping up to the plate!

nw__hunter:  Well said.  If the nation had more men like you, we'd never be faced with two such choices.  Like yours, my vote went elsewhere.  Most decent people can live with themselves at the end of the day.  Whomever voted for Obama or Romney is a part of the problem.  Never will we seize the reins of our country back from corruption without those in power understanding the folly of a government and a people who have fallen away into depravity.  Neither man was cut from the cloth of decency.  Neither had a clue about what it takes to effectively lead.  In their minds and in the circles they travel, both believe they are the answer to the world's troubles.  In truth, neither is the answer to anything except to promote lies and corruption and their own power.
This was not the first such election, but was probably the worst.  Actually, seldom in our history were the common people presented a choice between two Christians.  What a relief it would be to vote based on the issues!  Instead, the people who will someday step from the filth of this world into the Kingdom, must live the life on earth based on the decisions of those bound for Hell.  No, I'm not judging Obama or Romney, and I can't know who is going to Hades and who is not, but sometimes it's easy to know the character of someone.  One openly admitted he would continue and increase the abominations we currently suffer, while the other flopped around like a beached fish until he satisfied himself he had aligned himself with the wishes of the opposite party.

For those looking for my response concerning how a Christian can support Obama, please refer to the religious section.

So I ask not to start a war but to see how a christian should act. We know that there is no man on earth free of sin so should we not vote for anyone to lead the country ?
