Sights for a 20 gauge.
« on: November 06, 2012, 12:38:35 PM »
I have a 22 inch / 3 inch Pardner barrel.  I want to set it up for about as much as I can, as versitle as possible.  Clay pigeons, real birds, and medium game to deer-sized (within it's range of course).

I can put any sights I want on this barrel.  With the exceptions of anything electronic or a rib, that is.

What do y'all suggest?  Single front bead?  Double beads?  Rifle sights?  Ghost ring?

Thanks.

Oh, very nice Tim.  I hadn't thought of a fire sight deal.  What apperture do you use in rear sight?

Very cool set up.

Food for thought.  Brownells has a Trintium powered front shotgun sight.  Kinda thinkin' about pairing that with a Lyman peep sight.  Peeps are faster and easier for me to see.  I've used (and broken) a Fire sight.  I liked the visibility but not how fragile they are.

Thanks for the ideas.
