Turkeys

     Anyone seeing any turkeys?  In my little corner of western NY. About 15 miles south of lake Ontario i have been seeing a lot of turkeys. Mornings when i get bored i go for a little drive on 2 side roads near my house. Usually see at least 14. One morning 18 and the next morning 23. The strange part is i don't see a beard on any of them. Haven't see many deer in the last year though.

There are lot's of them up here. We have 12 hens and 6 nice toms come in the yard twice a day to see what might be there to eat.

         Went for my morning ride yesterday. Saw 14. They have moved about a mile from where i usually see them. Still don't see a tom in the flock ??? :o and they were only about 50 feet off the side of the road. They stuck around for about 10 minutes while i sat there and watched them.
