Because 37 loads and ejects thru the same port in the receiver there is little leverage (cam force)for extraction/ejection. I have noticed over the years a large number of 37's with rusty chambers. Don't know why but that certainly will cause exraction difficulty and even extraction/ejection failures. Steel wool wrapped around a bristle brush and spun in the chamber using a drill will polish/burnish the chamber smooth... Good luck with this great old gun..
