I like the music!  Good to see a comparison between various sizes of shot and one big round ball too.

i was actually expectinga bit more from teh shot, but then i took into account the fact its only travelling about 900 FPS, and when it hits the target its cutting a clean hole, not teh huge hydrostatic shock you see from modern cartridges.

its actually alot akin to teh wounds i see in civil war photos, clean holes through and through.

ETA- you guys that have never been around guns like this, i wish you could feel the thud of teh shockwave when they go off.  its AWESOME.

Thanks for posting the video; I always enjoy a good bang, bam, and/or boom.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
