dog proof coons traps

how do they work and are they any better then box traps then seen like they would be harder to see than a big ol' box trap.


i have had out some snares for about a week and have cought nothing what could be the problem,i see coon n fox tracks all over the place on the edge of the feilds but nothing cought.
should i be wearing rubber gloves.

Wing, I do use coon cuffs--they are a dog resistant trap.Cage traps work weel on coon ,but I would hate to haul a bunch of them on a fur -trapline.
 The cuffs work well for me and are not big and bulky or visible like a cage trap.
 Your snares have to be set in trails the animals are using.Look for spots in the trails that are necked down,place your snares there.
