It sure didn't take long to use some knowledge obtained from reading thru the forum pages. At the range this AM one of my Contender's, 7-70 Waters Super 14 barrel seemed it would not cock reliably. I remembered the thread about the grip being to tight. Loosened up the grip bolt(IT was Very TIGHT) and viola, it cocked fine the rest of the morning. On cleaning it, I took the grip off added a thin washer between the end of the reciever and the grip. Seems fine now. Will report upon shooting it again. Thanks again. John N
