First Cannon Shot
« on: November 28, 2012, 02:16:56 AM »
I got to shoot my 1841 Mountain Howitzer cannon the other day.  Took two shots with it.  I used 2 onces of powder and shot vegetable cans filled with concrete as a projectile.  Missed the target by "this much".
Hope the youtube link here will work.

It looked a little high and inside sort of a brush back shot. Next time load the veggie can with your two middle finger across the seam. Should correct that little problem.
