custom barrel

i'm thinking of ordering a mgm barrel in 243 win. whats the best barrel length, and twist for this round,

Depends on what bullet weight(s) you'll be shooting.   Can be anything from 8-14 twist... depending if for 107gr down to 68gr bullets.

I like a 20" barrel with a 1-10" twist.  ;D

I believe MGM uses 1 in 10 for their 6mm barrels

Here is a link to their 6mm page. You'll find 1 in 10 to be a common offering in 6mm rifles across the board.
