Williams peep on Versa Pack
« on: November 21, 2012, 02:48:39 PM »
I ordered the Williams peep sight for the BC for my Versa Pack.  I shot it today at 15 yards and with the rear sight at the lowest point and placing the top edge of the front sight on the target it was shooting 1.5" high.  The front sight is the original and is .625".  How tall does the front sight need to be?

See one of the sight height calculator links in the FAQs Peep and Firesights.

Snip a piece of that day-glow colored weed-eater line and epoxy it on top of the front, should come out close and be way more visible (price is right too).

I read this and thought that will never work. Went out to the shed and snipped a piece of trimmer line and scotch tapped it on to give it a look.  I believe it will work.  Thanks!
