Updated yesterday at 12:16 AM       NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A New Albany woman is recovering after she was robbed and attacked in the middle of the afternoon.

Donna Parris, 56, was on her way to work around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon when she stopped at the BP gas station on East Spring Street.

"I went in bought me a couple of packs of cigarettes. walked back to get in my car, and I got robbed before I could get into my car," Parris said.

Store surveillance shows two males standing outside the store for more than 10 minutes. Police believe the suspects were watching people until they found someone who appeared to be an easy target.

"One came from behind and one came from the front. The one that came from the front hit me upside the head. I fell to the ground and the other one kicked me," Parris said.

The males took her wallet and took of running, but she did get a look at the two. "They were just two young kids. They was about 16..17 years old," Parris said.

Captain Ken Fudge says the suspects age is very alarming, "that's why we hope we can get them caught so this doesn't escalate into more serious crimes."

I would say he is black and that is not racist. Its telling the truth. Another truth that the liberals and media lie about is the fact, on a per capita basis, Blacks commit 50% more violent crime then do whites. That is not being racist, its just telling the truth. Something liberals, government, and the media can't seem to do anymore. In an attempt to cover up the large crime numbers committed by blacks, liberals and the media classify Hispanics as white.
