357 Indy
« on: September 19, 2012, 08:13:50 PM »
We have been delayed in finishing the 223 Short, and I had forgotten about the 357 Indy (my memory leaves a lot to be desired these days). I promise I will start the 357 Indy and 357 WCF this fall and keep everyone posted here. I will have custom dies made and a reamer so we can start on the right foot.

Yep...they look like 357 Maxi on steroids...for simplicity, the WCF would be the easiest to implement, but then not legal for Indiana.

I can see where twoshooter is confused as the drawing for the .357 Indy looks as though the inside case mouth  ( bullet dia. ) is .379.   ???    Jedman

Trying to re-invent the .357 Herrett made from 30-30 Winchester brass?
http://www.reloadbench.com/cartridges/w357herr.html

Don't forget the .30 Herrett made from 30-30 Winchester brass.

As for the .375 caliber, nothing beats the .375 JDJ made from 444 Marlin brass invented by J.D. Jones. http://sskindustries.com/ssk-history

Also don't forget the .309 JDJ made from 444 Marlin brass as well.
