Rem 760 factory flaw.

hey guys i have rem 760 pump factory flaw receiver stamped 742 anyone know what this may be worth.                                                                   thanks joe

I would suggest contacting Remington with the rifle's serial number and getting verification of its authenticity from them.

I am wondering. A good many years ago, I remember a friends dad saying that you could send your 742 somewhere and they would convert it to a pump. I don't know if this is true or even possible, but it might be what you have.
