Need help identifying an old shotgun

I'm not sure maybe it's a Model 1905, seller said .44 cal dated 1901, come in a old leather case, here's a pic (the only one I have).

Thanks Tim  ;) The gun is far from perfect the seller wants me to make an offer, I'm not really sure if I'm interested or not but how much an old gun like this worth?

Saw one at a local flea mkt, If my remember'er is working right the one i saw was a 44-410..I may be wrong but I think the 410 was supposed to be for a 2" shell? :-\
Gitting old is jist barely better than the alternative... :(

Here's another of Bill Goforth's replies that are more specific on the 44, leads me to believe it's a model 1905 Lightweight.

i believe the gauge should be marked on top of the barrel. but no matter which frame size or gauge this is it should be considered a black powder cartridge model and not be fired with modern ammo.
