« on: November 18, 2012, 03:15:14 PM »
I am looking at this DW 152 and the gun is really tight and comes with wrench and is a 6in .357 with heavy vented rib.I am buying for $350.I never owned one of these just wonering if this is in line with the market. My local deealer said these were only worth @ 250 but what I have read is that these are good shooters..
Thanks

Had one of these until I got stupid and traded it.  Most accurate 357 I ever owned.  Big plus for you is getting the wrench with it!!!!  Most of the time you never see one with it and they are getting hard to find.

It seems to be a bit high in price by 50 bucks.  Condition is the key.  At least you can buy another barrel set up for it.  If you take the barrel off for cleaning, you have to reset the barrel gap, which is the space between end of the barrel and the cylinder.  Screw the barrel down on the cylinder and back it off just a bit, you want see just a little light with out a gauge.  Make sure the cylinder will move, tighten barrel nut and re-check. DW made a 15 inch Silhouette barrel for it.  If you don't have a barrel gauge for this gun I'm sure you can get one through CZ... which will give you the number to Wesson.  It is a good gun.
