Depends on what projectiles you wish to shoot.  These are traditionals, but meant for non-traditional projectiles.

The ones I have like heavy for caliber conicals. I imagine a lot of poor reviews are from fellows shooting balls in them. They don't like light weight (short) projectiles. Heck they don't even care for mid weight conicals. The smallest size 50 and 54 Lee REAL bullets don't do very good for me. They are tack drivers with the long heavy lyman bullets though. Supposed to be good with sabots but I've never shot one.

Heck tacklebury, what's not traditional about conicals? They were launching minies at each other in the civil war and that was an improved bullet for the day. Had been using bullets for quite a few years by then.  :D

I think the roundball is more traditional for the style of rifle the GP represents.  Using conicals in a GP would be akin to using carbon arrows with a longbow.  Perfectly okay, works great, but not really traditional.  I'd sure like to have one the Hunter models.  I for sure would use a long and heavy bullet, maybe even a plastic base copper projectile.
