OK, Bob, you got some WC 680. What else did you get? Quit teasing us.

I've only talked to Jeff over the phone, but he's always struck me as the kinda guy to do business with.

Mag. or Max.

The .357 Super Mag was designed by Elgin Gates back around 1975 and the length is 1.610.

Remington came out with the .357 Maximun with Ruger in 1982. And the length of that is 1.605.

So was the reamer for the Super Mag or the Maximum?  Doesn't really matter since were all using the Remington brass that is 1.605.  Were just not going to have to trim for a while if it was the SM.

Well I now have two 357 Maximum rifles. :-D  One NEF Handi and a Rossi. I tell you something that little Rossi is a nice rifle for the price. I like the lite weight and thin receiver. When you grab the reciever it is like holding a Win. M94. I will tell you something else Rossi discontinued the 357 mag as well. My dealer called her supplier and they had a couple left. Is there a conspiracy againest the 357 magnum.

Bob and I might split a jug of H110 equivalent on the next trip.  A bud of ours at work might also want some of it.  I haven't asked him yet tho.  Jeff has some H335 equivalent in a pulldown powder but I'm not sure I want to try it.  I'll have a look at what condition it's in before I buy.  My 223 really likes the commercial H335 I bought here locally.  Since we're going to pick it up, I might be able to talk him into selling me a pound to try instead of a whole jug.

No problem Marv. As soon as I get some reloads worked up. It will be a couple more weeks before I get some powder. Already have brass, bullets, and a Lee hand press. I can tell you right now that the Rossi is lite weight and should be a dream to carry. Its is a lot lighter than the handi. As soon as I can I'll give you a report on the Rossi compared to the NEF. Both will be wearing 4x32 scopes. It is a shame both companys have discontinued the 357 mag. There are still some Rossi left at suppliers and I'm sure there are some NEF's floating around.
