Depends on what you are going to use it for. Overall, very good rifles. I have several Benj/Sheridans, and Crosmans, including a S392. They do everything I want them to do. Good one to start with or add to your collection. Buddy

You can sometimes find dealers with factory rebuilds at half cost.

The recent rebuilds are real pieces of crap. They used to be OK. I bought a rebuild several years ago that was beautiful and well done. Not so with the ones I've seen lately. Spend the extra money and buy a new one.

CJ. 392 should work well, try DNRSPORTS.com (D&RSports), good prices. They may even have a Crosman or other brand you may prefer. I would buy new or a used one from a friend, but not remanufactured. Buddy

They're accurate and powerful but a little on the loud side when compared to a spring-powered gun. Best to get it in .22 caliber.
