Bill Clinton Proposed Same Thing As NRA 12/26/12
Gateway Pundit:

The liberal media is lambasting NRA President Wayne LaPierre for proposing cops in public schools, forgets that Bill Clinton
proposed the same thing back in 2000. At the time. Before It’s News:

“In our national struggle against youth violence we must not fail our children; our future depends on it,”
[President Clinton] said in his weekly radio address.
Clinton announced $40 million in grants for 23 school districts that he said have found successful, comprehensive approaches to help troubled young people.
Clinton unveiled the $60-million fifth round of funding for “COPS in School,” a Justice Department program that helps pay the costs of placing police officers in schools to help make them safer for students and teachers. The money will be used to provide 452 officers in schools in more than 220 communities.

You won't hear the liberal media or any other moonbats talk about this.
"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."

---- William Pitt (the Younger), Speech in the House of Commons, November 18, 1783
