Lever Trigger Job?
«

I didnt know whether to post this in the Lever Guns forum or here, I guess either will work. Anyway, I have a newer Savage 99 in .308 that has a horrendous trigger on it. Are these triggers tunable and should they run the same price as say a model 700 trigger job?
Thanks PD

The trigger on a M700 is sscrew adjustable. It is fairly simple to acheive a good trigger. The 99 requires metal be polished and parts refitted,., It should cost more than a M700 but is do able.. Good luck,,
