30-06 Handi with manchiler forend

I need a little help on a Handy 30-06 that I forgot I had. It has a heavy 30-06 barrel with a straight grip and a manlicher forend. I hunted with this rifle about four years ago and cleaned it and put it in the safe. I was looking for a scope today and found it. It has no rust and is in very good condition . I guess what I'm getting to is are these still as sought after as they once were or should I just let it ride the safe?
