I'm seriously thinking of getting a new Ruger M77 in .350 Rem to go with my  other .35's.  There's also an Win M70 Alaskan in .338 and a M70 super grade in .375 H&H, both controlled feed (part of an estate sale) that are calling me too... :-D  CEJ..
If I can't take my rifles with me, I don't want to go!

No taste? You picked the Marines and I picked the Girl Scout's.Life goes on and I still challenge you and your crew to push-ups vertical.

One year ago some young pup asked me if I could do push-ups on my head.My older wife   still hates me for doing or trying(in the place) at my age.Gotta try.I did five and the young left me alone.Let's bring on the Marines?Joking maybe the older?

Just an old guy with six kid's.Four boy's and know respect. Rodney Danjerfield.?

 For myself knowing that my wife who is on vacation would WANT me to have a great Valentines gift, I was looking at a Armalite AR-10 in desert storm camaflauge color. Man you could lay this thing down on the ground in the fall where trees have dropped their leaves and you would not see it. (Pretty cool) But that of course is one of many on the list.

I had .338 or .375 Magnumitis - wanted one BAD.  Then I found a used Marlin 375 at a gun show and bought it instead.

I still had .338 or .375 Magnumitis, but I found a used Marlin 1895 .45-70 in like-new condition at a price I couldn't pass up ($249.95).

I gave up on the .338's and .375 Big Boys and decided I wanted a Marlin 336 .30-30 in Stainless.  Then I got a Ruger M77 MKII VT to replace my worn out Savage .22-250.

My plan was to rebarrel the Savage and I had decided on either a .257 Roberts or a .308 Win.  Then I sold the gun and bought a like-new Ruger in .257 Roberts.  (At least I got the caliber right this time.)

Now I'm thinking .338 or .375 Magna-Blaster again.  I'm bound to be right someday...

That do be traditional function of lever weaponry, say Dali Llama.  Dali say current .410 lever guns only discharge 2.5 inch ammunition anyway. :(  :(

I must say that I do find the Marlin 410 very intriguing. I'll never buy one, but seems like it would make a good squirrel gun...not to mention great medicine for upright walking vermin.

Dali Llama say he prefer 12 gauge with 00 buckshot for pest control of latter... :-)

New here, long time lurker over at MT. I'm waiting for the Dealer man to call and tell me my 1897CB is in.(found it used at a chain store and having it transfered to a store near the house) Also just took delivery on a Handi-Rifle in 22 Hornet. Great wood on the Hornet and damn good shooter as well.

Also many thanks to GB for giving us Marlin and H&R/NEF owners a new home. I am a member of the Yahoo NEF group, big thanks to Perklo and the guys over there as well. Learned quite a bit at both places.

Might have pix of the new Handi tonight,of couse that would go to the appropriate forum.

I  just brought home my next rifle, an 1895 CB, 45-70 and will try it tomorrow. Next on the list is an 1894 in 32 H & R. After that comes retirement and the end of this seemingly never-ending wish list.

After a careful overnight deliberation, it is my belief that all who have posted here should acquire a Marlin Model 60!

Everytime I walk into the Gun Store, I hear the new S&W 1911 calling my name......or was that a new 1894 in .41 to go with my new accusport 5.5 SS Bisley. I'd love to find a Steoger (sp) coach gun with hammers....I've seen the Russian and Norinco ones and they seem trashy to me.
