savage 111 7mm mag what barrel can I change to

may be able to get my hands on one cheap but have ne need for 7mmmag. what calibers would work if i get another barrel. some that i might want 250 savage. 257 roberts. 25-06. 300 savage. just a thought

On that 111 long action you could put just about any barrel that you want to. If you want to change from a magnum case you will also need to change the bolt head. Also you would probably need to change the magazine box.

I replaced a Sav 110  7mm mag with a 300 win mag barrel and I had to replace the magazine also.  If you go with a heavier barrel you will likely need to sand out the barrel channel of the stock also.
