Well only had to work half a day today. Came home and had a package from Mr. Potterfield containing my 30-30AI dies! Loaded up a few and headed to the range. This is a real similar load to Tim's 30-30AI load. H322 and sierra 125 ph spt. First few shots were dialing the scope in, let the gun cool a bit then fired the last 3. Right around 1 1\2". The last shot I punched the trigger and knew I screwed up. This is probably easily a sub 1 inch load with a little better effort on my part and some fine tuning. Spent the next 45 mins blasting away with my ruger blackhawk 41 mag. Only took 10 rounds of Ackley's with me, I drove past the range on the way home from work and knew I would have it all to myself so I only loaded 10.
