I have coming a savage 110 338 Lapua in a HS stock and I'm looking to shoot out to 1200 yards with it maybe further if I can find a place. I'm thinking 6-20 scope would be what i'm looking for and didn't what others were using and such ie brands. I keep looking at the Vortex hs LR scopes and the long ranges shooters in my area swear by the sightrons. What do you all reccomend and I know this is bad but I'm having to keep my price range in the $800 ish range. I have a Lyman 10x target scope to get me by for now.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I don't own a Sightron, but I do own a Nightforce, they are tough as nails. For your rifle I am going to second Sourdough's recommendation.
