I used to own a blued 5.5 inch Redhawk in .44 mag, and really liked the balance and accuracy of that gun. Never should have sold it. Can you open the original six shot cylinder to .480, or will a five shot cylinder have to be used? Though I never owned one, using my .44 mags., and waiting for a .480 Super Blackhawk that never came, I always thought the .480 would be a great big game round, using a WFLN bullet at moderate velocity, punching a big hole, and plenty of penetration, without the blast and sharp kick of some of the faster rounds, like the 454, or 475.
