I noticed today I am starteing to get some very minor rust on the outside barrel. Any suggestions to remove it?

I usually use 0000 steel wool with some oil on it and go very lightly

with a lot of oil.
after you get it fixed, degrease and
treat the gun with eezox.

fritz , tooth paste with baking soda or oil , baking soda mixed or Kroil oil any one will work. Then soak the bbl. in good oil and let stand for a while , wipe off excess .

0000 steel wool with hoppes #9 cleaned it up real nice. Thanks all

I've had good luck with automatic transmission fluid on a copper pot scrubber. I think it was Ed Harris that told me about this...
