It will work fine if it's a modern Huntsman frame with shotgun or rifle size firing pin, although the shotgun pin sometimes may cause primer issues.

I use my huntsman frame for a 357Mag barrel most of the year, I only put the Huntsman barrel on just before BP season.  Never had a problem.

The Huntsman (recent current production, not "A" prefix, 70's manufacture) frame is basically a SB1 strength frame.  You can also use it for shotgun, and other pistol calibers, and I believe low pressure rifle barrels (like the 30-30, & 45-70).

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.
