20 gauge with choke tubes??? factory ever make these?

Looking for one for my nephew.  he wants to buy his first gun with his own money.  Daid he wanted a H&R with tubes so he can hunt turkeys, rabbits, etc.

He CAN hunt all those with a reg 20 with the fixed choke. The way loads are made now with the different shotcups, etc. they can shoot patterns up or down one choke compared to the old days. You just need to pattern some loads for the game / range intended.

Thanks guys.  I have told the kid the same thing.  A full choke would be fine.  He is fixed on gettign choke tubes.  Says they are cool.  Not for me to fight that logic.  As long as he is interested.

They also made a 20 gauge pardner with screw in choke tubes. Not that common but they're out there. I prefer fixed chokes myself.

My son packed away his 20g Pardner single shot when I got him the 20g Pardner Pump for Christmas a year ago.    I was pleasantly surprised the the PP turned out to be the most effective shootgun I have ever had.     I placed a XFull choke in it for turkey season and this setup hits with a 8" pattern at 30 yds with both heavy turkey #6 or with #3 buckshot.  To top it off the thing shoots to the same spot at 50 yds with slugs.     I told him don't change the choke!
 
So now the Pardner SS is destined to be shortened and slung in a scabbard on the tractor for times when Im plowing the food plots.
