Greetings all: Newbie here looking for any info or comments you guys might have to help me find out about these guns I just "ran into". I'm a knife collector but also like guns and while meeting with a guy to buy a knife he mentioned a bunch of "old guns"he wanted to get rid of. I was happy to oblige him. They are all guns used by security guards at a large Mass factory from the WW1 era up to the 50's. I got 8 handguns from the guy. Included are these 3 H&R Defender top-break revolvers in .38 S&W. From what research I have done, I think they date to the early production years in late 30's. They all have 3 digit serial numbers. Condition is very fine on all 3 with little sign of use or wear. I'd appreciate any thoughts on relative rarity or potential market value.
