And FAX them too - many still have FAX machines.  Don't forget, those of you that are married, that's two of you.  Have children over 18 at home?  Them too.  Any that aren't living at home, ask them, then do it for them if they won't. 

Yes, it's that important. 

You won't change the hard-core libs (we have one here in Ohio, Sherrod Brown, that we won't change) but do it anyway.  Make sure they know that you'll oppose them with money and time if they don't oppose this legislation. 

If you have some on the other side that you don't think will be swayed away from support of the 2nd amendment, let them know you have their back.  They need to know we support them as much as the others need to know we will oppose them. 

And those in the middle might be swayed so hit them hardest!

I noticed the Mini 14 didn't make the cut as an assault rifle...Last time they were screaming that it was. Looking at some of the semi auto rifles and shotguns there is no rhyme or reason to what is and isn't classified as an assault weapon. Seems like if it has a plastic stock it is if it has a wood stock it isn't.  One picture was what appeared to be a semi auto turkey gun with a thumbhole stock and is classified as an assault weapon.............I see they made pistols with folding stocks illegal... guess they forgot they already are.
I just thought of how to get around the thumbhole stock regulation. Cut a channel for the thumb in the stock instead of through it. Same effect..... or a palmswell. It's also going to affect some .22 target pistols that use thumbhole stocks.
