Lost another Senate vote

A wildly popular NYS represenate attempting to become Senator lost to an empty dress with no experience with help from George Soros and other big $$$ out of state liberals.  Pro gun, pro life, pro family George Amedore went down to defeat due to recount from Hudson valley voters.  The districts drawn up in NY are done to dilute the conservative votes with city folks.  He was my last and only hope for just 1 representative for federal and state representation.  All of my representatives for state and federal are now demoRATS and I live in a very conservative area.  Sending mail and making phone calls fall on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Welcome to the club.  I disagree with 100% of what my rep does or says.
so I write and e-mail conservative reps from other districts and other states.  My senators are pretty good though in most cases.

Can you move to another state? or a more conservative district?  I feel sorry for conservatives in the far left loonie liberal areas.

  I don't know if there are any conservative districts left  in NY due to the gerrymandering tactic of district drawing.  I am what you call a disenfranchised american voter as my votes simply do not count and my opinions are of no value.  This is one of our country's problems as our system of government has been rigged against conservative values.  I see no hope for our future.  I am very skeptical that  it can be fixed.  Not enough Ronald Reagans left.  To be fair, 1 of the 18 senators voting against Cuomo's anti 2ed amendment bill voted no.  Hugh Farley;  But he is very close to retirement.

I live in a conservative area in northern new york.  It does not matter.  My senator voted against the gun law, but was only 1 of 18.  We are out numbered no matter what we do.

People that are thinking about moving would be taking a risk. What will happen if this dipspit gets elected next time around. We would all be united as a anti-gun country.

   I live in a very conservative district in south western NY..My senator Kathy Young always votes in favor of the 2nd amendment.  Her Father & brothers farm and hunt big & small game at Lima, NY...and Kathy shoots trap competitively.  She KNOWS gunbs and hunting...and our constitution.
  Unfortunately, the big cities out vote us.  NY is a big bright red state..with the major cities Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Schenectady, Albany & NYC ..being very bright blue spots..to spoil the situation. ;)   The tragedy is the numbers lie in those bright blue spots...like chicken pox! :D

The facts and numbers are in.  Republican senate majority leader Dean Skelos drew up the newly formed 46th district to include 10,000 more registered demorats than republicans.  Pro gun, pro family, pro life candidate Assemblyman George Amedore lost his bid to become senator by 18 votes.  His challenger supported by George Soros and others has no experience except as legislative aid for demoraty party.  What a flustercluck!  NYS is screwed!

We have been screwed for years, but don't give up continue to make your self heard an Hope it helps. We do have a few people that are trying to help and they deserve our support and to know that we are behind them.
