1895 cowboy loads?

Looking for an easy load on the shoulder for learning my new gun! Any good starting places? got some 405gr jrn but thats heavy enough to kick back.
Just looking for loads since i got the gun two weeks ago!

Try 25 grs of IMR 3031 or better yet 50 grain load of FFG; smoke but not a lot of kick

Try 400grain cast with about 23 grains of accurate 5744. Crimp with a Lee Factory crimp die. Works great in my 1886 carbine, and my buddies 1895 Marlin.

Try 25-26 grs. of SR 4759 for a pleasant load.
