well i have 2 new members in my family now.

named marlin and 12 guage (not sure of the name)



picked the 12 up for $50 and the 30-30 for $350 the 30-30 is a marlin.

Although it is difficult to tell from your picture, the shotgun appears to have a barrel release mounted on the front of the trigger guard.  If so the gun may be Brazilian made and may be a Boito, IIRC.

They were sold through the Mart stores.  I've also seen them labeled as Sears, Roebuck and Co.

the release is in front of the trigger and it is a brazilian made gun but i cant make out the exact name, its kinda long and hard to pronounce

If you can type it up on here, I might be able to tell you what it means.  Well, not me, I speak spanish as a fluent second language, and they speak portuguese in Brazil, but I actually have a friend from Brazil, so he may know the company, or just what it means.  So really, you are getting it from him.   :D
