when I lived in Michigan, in the 3 days before gun-deer season over 750,000 hunters moved to their camps with enough supplies for 3-7 days. An infantry General was asked how long it would take him to move that many troops, answer 3 months

I would be pretty sure that any jackbooted feds who seek to destroy the 2A. already know who we are.  If they don't, then we have not spoken LOUD ENOUGH. 
 
We all have an obligation as American citizens to protect our country and way of life from all enemies, foreign and domestic.  If we don't all hang together then most assuredly we will hang separately.

What about a person who OBEYS an illegal law when they should be standing their ground and fighting it with the rest of us.   Aren't they part of the problem too?
 
What comes to my mind as I write this is those Nazis who beat that old lady to the ground in New Orleans while disarming her.   Think also about all those people who would surrender their arms to "the people in charge" if they were told to do so.

problem is we have become a nation of protected people. when this country was first settled folks had to fight to live that was up to WW1. after that the American people thought that the government, police and so on would protect them. so now we have become a nation that is dependant on those  people.kinda forgot how to think for our selves

I agree. The more dependent you are on someone else the less free you are. Seems that's the way our government now likes us.

The only way to afford to continue buying all those votes is to nationalize private business but before that can happen, they will have to confiscate all those pesky guns.

  Truely, if by vote or fraud, the house and senate both are dominated by libs in 2014, our country will either be at war or will just be lost. By vote I really don't think we could lose the house. By fraud I think its likely. This is a pertrifying thought. The door to door confiscations mentioned, would most probably take place. As I listened to obama speak in the state of the union address last night, his words jumped out at me as he spoke of streamling the voting process. What this means we don't know, but it implies to me that his administration will find some way to insure easy voting for dems, or easier fraud, one of the two. Maybe both. Look for our coming elections (mid term) to be the deciding factor in the fate of the union. J
