that's the special white batphone.
it's used that way to confuse any
unauthorized user so no calls
can be completed using the handset
in the normal position.

it's white because it's color-coded.
white for the whitehouse
red for for comissioner gordon etc.

the flag is backwards because there
is only one batsignal because
of budgetary shortfalls

Next thing, the Obammies will be posting that for consumption of the Benghazi hearings...saying that's why he didn't get help for the consulate staff...for the 7-8 hours between the beginning of the attack and murder of the personnel..
