I use a lot of vintage gear.  These will be in the woods this fall......they are really to expensive to shoot though.

These have never been sharpened.  Ebay is a good source for Bear Razorheads......they are the best IMO.

Oh Swampy, you ain't planning to kill a deers with something so primitive are you? ;)  That is liable to bounce off seein' as it doesn't have a carbide, cut on impact, aerospace engineered, trophy bonded, trocar tip.

I'm sure you will muddle along. Besides, those little poodle size southern deer  ;D  should die pretty easy, with a big old hole in em like that rascal will deliver. Are those Ace broadheads?

I havent seen those heads in decades!!  The last one I saw destroyed my band saw blade as I was cutting steaks!!!  LOL

Ben Pearson head no?

I still have a couple boxes of factory bear cedar shafts with bear heads attached!!

Hey Ranger, Magnus sold off their line of "old fashioned" broadheads to another company so chances are they are still making your favorite:  http://thundervalleyarchery.com/thundervalley_archery_magnus_classic_broadheads_page.php  Magnus was my favorite but I switched to Zwickeys when I went to wood arrows.

I tried those Magnus Stingers you are talking about. I could get six one piece olde fashioned Magnus heads for the price of 3 Stingers, but the replaceable blades sounded like a good idea to me. I shot a deer and it peeled the ferule of the broadhead back. A lot of good replaceable blades do me when the body of the head itself is destroyed! They just arent as tough as the olde fashoined heads

i'm sold on the old  style two
blade magnus. good welded
body and easily resharpened.
it's what to use on these hogs
that have all that dried mud
and creosote from rubbing the
poles. one of those heads will
zip right on through that muck
and cut the vitals. most mechanicals
won't make it, and i've broke
some replaceable blade heads.
(except for the thunderhead)
