22 Hornet Front Sight Filler Screw

Took the iron sights off me new 22 hornet and Sporster.  Anyone know the front filler screw size and where to order them from?

I bought an assortment of fillers screw some time ago just for this reason. If you find the size let me know and I'll check my stock for one.

For front sights screw size there's no one-size, they've used 3-48, 3-56, 4-48 and 6-48 for sure at one time or another, most I've seen are 3-48 tho. I made my own by cutting a 3-48 screw then cutting a slot in it with the dremel. I've also order some 6-48 socket heads from Brownells for the bigger ones.

Clean it out with some solvent, then rubbing alcohol and put some black RTV silicone on it. You can pick it out later if you need to.
