I know this has probaly been ask before BUT, I could not find the answers I need.I was wondering if a 1911 style 22lr pistol frame could be used with a 45acp slide ? I recently aquired a 38-45 barrel that will not work on my armscor frame.armscor does not have a feed ramp and new barrel does not have one.Thought about trying to silver solder a piece of steel to barrel and form a feed ramp from it to work on my frame.Was wondering about trying to find a 22lr model if it would work. any help would be appreciated, Thanks
