Anyone Recognize this Scope?
« on: February 16, 2013, 09:23:33 PM »
Sorry for it being and advertisement vid but.. at time 1:09... was curious what scope that might be?

Looks nice and compact and clears the hammer nicely on the H&R Survivor, so I'd think it's be good on the 45-70. Assuming it can take the recoil.

I am not sure what scope was in the video, but any scope with a 5" or > eye relief can be mounted ahead of the hammer.

The bottom rifle (Handi 357 Max) has a scope with 5" eye relief and is mounted ahead of the hammer.

The "light" is a high density LED for night critters. With 38 Special wad cutters, it makes effective night time medicine for marauding vermin.

With the angled front..............I would guess some type of BSA scope.

It looks like an NC Star tactical to me.  I received a brand new one in the box last week in a package deal.  It's a different model, but similar size.  I'm going to put it in the classifieds, send me a PM if interested.

Thanks for mentioning it. Too soon to tell yet. Still waiting for the gun to arrive. Before I buy the scope, want to see if I can make it shoot at all. Definitely will keep it in mind. :)

Didn't recognize that trait. I've owned very few scopes over the years. All were "hand me downs". Was never really something I cared alot about being primarily a handgun guy. But something about the soviet PU scopes on Mosins appeals to me, LOL! So began to think about it. Some of the scopes I've seen on sporting bolt guns have been awesome to say the least.

But I'm always worried that with a field gun, it's going to get banged around.  Always want the irons there, for sure.

It is a 2.5X Tasco Bantam. You can get them at Natchez for cheap.

Actually I think that's a Leaper's Bug Buster Mini Scope.  I have a 4x32 Mildot on my wife's .357 Magnum and it is very close porportionally except hers is the full length.

Another vote for it being Tasco Bantam.
