Has anyone used Winchester primers, if they reload, for 223 in their AR's? Have you had any slam fires? Only primers I could find recently. Prefer CCI primers.

I use nothing but Winchester primers. Although I use SRP they are used in a 9x23 pistol. No experience with them in an AR15, but I will.

I use winchester primers, but I don't shoot a lot of reloads through my AR. However, The few times I have, I did not have any issues with slam fires.

Cup thickness varies between brands and type.

I've fired thousands of rounds thru a DSA/DPMS using W748 and Winchester SR magnum primers with 0 issues.
