Whoopie really isn't much different than alot of gun owners. How many out there, have the attitude, well, if their not after my shotgun for duck hunting, or muzzleloader for primitive weapons deer season, why should I care. I've meet to many of these type's, and for the life of me, can't see their reasoning. With what has happened over in England and Australia, some are so blind, as to not see the handwriting on the wall. gypsyman

Exactly right Gypsyman! Many think "oh, he's a gun owner he's on our side". Like you, I have seen the ignorance in fellow gun owners also. If it ain't their deer rifle or shotgun the Feds and liberals are after, they are all in for the confiscation for AR style rifles or semi auto handguns.
How many times do we hear a politician say "we don't want to take your huntin guns", and there are fellow gun owners that fall for this crap, hook, line and sinker . I guess they figure if they are after the other guys guns theirs will be left alone. These are the people that we have to educate and change the minds of. The others I believe is a waist of time and effort. If you have ever tried to show a liberal the truth, you know what I mean.   Knowing the truth is just not part of their repertoire.

I will argue that even though they may not personally be against firearms, they may feel that private ownership is Ok.
The reality of it is if you vote for a Liberal, socialist, or other left leaning politician you are supporting the whole liberal platform of Man Made global warming, andare therefore against manufacturing, construction, refining, drilling mining.  owing their votes to the communist Green party and enviromental whackos.

So if you think that you can divorce yourself from one aspect of the liberal platform you are mistaken.
