kahr 9mm

friend of mine aquired a kahr pistol  stamped 9x19 on barrel would that be a regular 9mm round  thanks

9mm Parabellum, Luger, 9x19 are all the same round.  9x18 is the Makarov round, 9x23 is a proprietary round (Glock I think) and the 9mm Kurtz is the .380 ACP

 As Keith stated 9x19 is more specific athen Luger or parabellum.  9x17 = .380 or 9mm Kurtz or 9mm Corto and 9x18 (which is closer to 9.2mm) is the Makarov.
