Wondering if anybody here can tell me who a barrel maker is by the stamped initials. I have a custom 24" SS #4 contour barrel chambered for 257 Imp. 40° Ackley. I got this from a smith years ago who ordered the barrel and the customer changed his mind. The smith is long gone. I traded him for it because it is threaded and set up for a Remington 600 action but all I know is the barrel is stamped " RC 482 " . Does anybody know who's work this is ?
